Color, and aerial perspective workshop by Larry Blovits

June 18-19-20,
Hours: 9:00-1200 and 1:00-4:00 daily

This workshop will continue to build on the art and
understanding of color mixing; identifying the characteristics of
the light source, and the combined influence on aerial
perspective. Identifying the temperature and characteristics of
the light source/direction, and being able to mix the
appropriate color of light enables the artist to coordinate and
harmonize everything with the clues of aerial perspective to
make a descriptive statement. Pre-workshop assignments will
set the stage for the promotion of aerial perspective in specific
lighting situations that will be developed during the workshop,
Lectures and demonstrations will emphasize and reinforce the
technical and creative aspects of aerial perspective. Personal
attention will be given to every participant every day.

The workshop is open to intermediate through advanced level
and every painting medium (including pastel), and is restricted
to 12 students. $285
